My internship took place during the Spring 2014. At that time I was doing my Bachelor of Home-automation and autonomy of people at the University of Limoges in France. To finish my diploma I needed to choose an internship at one of the partner-universities. TUSUR University located in Tomsk, Siberia was among them.

I choose this internship because it was a authentic opportunity to see Russia. In my research work I was supposed to find the best solution to prevent and assist people in case of fall in a room equipped with camera.

What I liked the most in Tomsk, particularly in Russia was the architecture, people and culture which are completely different from the French ones. Siberian cold can be read on people’s faces at the first look but finally Siberian people are really kind and friendly.
