EPITECH students presented the results of their internship at TUSUR University
TUSUR University maintains long-standing partnerships with a number of French universities. In 2014 the University started its exchange program with EPITECH, and every year several of its students come to Tomsk for a full-year long academic and research internship.
The majority of international interns at TUSUR University work within ongoing engineering projects.
This June, EPITECH students have presented the results of their internship within the following projects:
- User authentication by on-line signature based on a combination of neural networks and Bayesian classifier, by Geofftoy Sadowski (research supervisor – Evgeny Kostyuchenko, Department of Complex Information Security of Computer Systems),
- Algorithms to measure audio program loudness and true-peak audio level, by Benjamin Deroche (research supervisor – Vladislav Marchenk, Department of Complex Information Security of Computer Systems),
- Vacuum-cleaner/Geolocation using mobile network, by Emmanuel Isidore (research supervisor – Denis Antipov, Department of Complex Information Security of Computer Systems),
- Creation of a 3D model from DICOM files, by Robin Vasseur (research supervisor – Denis Pakhmurin, Department of Industrial Electronics).
Research supervisors praised the commitment and performance of the students, who, in turn, noted that their internship at TUSUR was a valuable international experience that will serve as an important professional experience in their future careers.
TUSUR University and EPITECH created a joint educational program in 2012, offering students of either university an opportunity to benefit from an internship or a dual degree program at the partner university. Read more about the program on the Dual Degree Programs page.
