Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics ranked 88th by research income per institutional income in the 2019 edition of the RUR World University Ranking.
Compared to the previous year’s edition, in 2019 TUSUR University improved its Financial Sustainability ranking, placing 19th in Russia (vs. 22nd in 2018, 28th in 2017) and 614th globally (vs. 673rd in 2018, 677th in 2017). In one of the key subrankings – In terms of research income per institutional income – TUSUR has ranked 88th, compared to 157th in the previous year. The University has also improved its International Diversity ranking, placing 22nd in Russia and 554th globally (vs. 632nd in 2018).
In the overall ranking, TUSUR ranked 59th in Russia and 766th among world universities.
TUSUR University entered the RUR World University Rankings for the first time in 2017. RUR experts comment that its well-developed research infrastructure make the University a national leader in the “research income per institutional income” category, demonstrating results that are more than twice as high as the national average.
The RUR University Rankings assess universities against 20 criteria, grouped into four subrankings: Teaching, Research, International Diversity, and Financial Sustainability.
