Rector of TUSUR University, Head of Microwave and Power Electronics Technical Committee Victor Rulsevskiy and Director of Belarusian Institute of Standardization and Certification Alexander Skuratov have signed a cooperation agreement at the Army 2023 Forum.
The Agreement was signed as part of the roundtable event “Strategic Priorities of Scientific and Technological Development of Russia in Standardization of Microwave and Power Electronics” with representatives of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Rosstandart, universities, research institutes and industrial enterprises from Russia and Belarus. The new Agreement has become one of the first steps in the program of the Union State for the development of industrial electronics that was proposed by the Governor of Tomsk Oblast and supported by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
According to Victor Rulevskiy, the new standards will be developed in the course of specific collaborations, starting with an upcoming project with the Research and Production Enterprise “Optics, Optoelectronics and Laser Engineering” (National Academy of Sciences of Belarus). General Director of the enterprise Maxim Bogdanovich further confirmed that the project will be dealing with the development of nitride technologies that have the potential to create devices with superior radiation stability and frequency characteristics. The project will also involve Belarusian enterprises Planar, Integral, universities and institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
