Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics has improved its positions in the National University Ranking 2017 published by Interfax Information Agency.
TUSUR University has shown outstanding results in some of the ranking categories. It has ranked third country-wide by quality of high school relations, behind only the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. The University has also ranked 10th by international cooperation and 27th by promotion of knowledge. In the overall university rankings, TUSUR has improved its result, moving up to the 35th position.
Interfax experts comment that universities of Tomsk have strong faculty teams, strategically minded leadership bringing positive changes to the academic processes, research and innovation at their institutions and developing university campuses.
The National University Ranking is a study of the Russian university market that has been held annually since 2010. The universities are ranked by six global criteria: education, research, socialization, internationalization, innovation and brand. The metrics are collected from university questionnaires, public data of the universities and the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.
