Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics became one of the 107 Russian universities included in the 2019 QS World University Rankings: EECA.
TUSUR has ranked 191—200th in the region of EECA, and 48th among Russian universities.
The University has also been included in category rankings of employer reputation, international students, publications, faculty/student and web impact. The best result was in the international students category, 22nd regionally. This criterion remains the traditionally the strongest dimension for TUSUR in university rankings published by QS and by other ranking agencies.
For the 2019 edition of the BRICS University Rankings, QS has analyzed data from over 450 universities in the region. The final Rankings included 305 universities, 107 of them from Russia. The Rankings are designed to represent the best universities from the EECA region that demonstrate continued growth and offer a significant contribution to the social and economic growth of their countries.
TUSUR University first entered the QS EECA Rankings in 2014. Universities considered for the Rankings are evaluated by nine criteria: academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student, international faculty, international students, papers per faculty, citations per faculty, staff with PhD and web impact.
