Teachers of Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics have developed special courses in Easy Presentations and Mobile 101 for third age students.
On March 4, TUSUR opened its IT School within the framework of the Academy of Active Longevity. University teachers have offered a special Easy Presentations program where students will have a chance to acquire and practice new presentation-making skills.
On March 18, TUSUR will start a new program Mobile 101 where third age students will learn all aspects of using mobile devices and mobile apps, such as WhatsApp, Viber and Skype, and will find out how to install any apps and use the mobile internet.
TUSUR was one of the first universities to join the project Tomsk Academy of Active Longevity, created with a view to improve the quality of living and longevity of senior citizens.
Starting in 2017, TUSUR has been partnering with the Department of Social Security of Tomsk region, offering computer literacy courses with a focus on modern IT technology. The classes offer instruction in various aspects of using electronic state services and utility services, mobile devices, email, messenger services, online shopping, etc.
