Two Postgraduate students from Iraq have been awarded the qualification of Research Instructors in Methods and Systems of Information Security.
This September, Postgraduate students from Iraq defended their graduation theses in the Institute of System Integration and Security.
Al Ani Mustafa Majid Hamid has focused his research on AI-powered identification of malware using machine learning. The young researcher has offered several ways to counteract malware.
Alshaibi Ahmed Jamal Abdulrahman has defended his thesis on “Cyberphysical system security analysis using machine learning”. He has carried out a detailed analysis of cyberphysical systems and studied and described security threats to such systems.
Both students were awarded the qualification of Research Instructors in Methods and Systems of Information Security based on their research.
“We are pleased to note that both theses demonstrate a high quality of research,” said Professor Alexandr Shelupanov, President of TUSUR and Director of the Institute of System Integration and Security. “I hope that our graduates will continue their research careers in Iraq, thus promoting the scientific ties between our countries.”
Both Mustafa Al Ani and Ahmed Alshaibi have expressed their gratitude to their professors for their support and for the knowledge they imparted during their studies.
