University representatives have contributed to the celebrations of the birthday of Tomsk.
The International Conference – Siberian Cosmology Days 2016 has ended at TUSUR University. The conference brought together scientists from Japan, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Greece, Bulgaria, Egypt and India, and was a venue for discussion of the recent developments in cosmology, astrophysics and black hole physics. The conference was moderated by Professor Sergey Odintsov, one of the highest-impact scientists in the world.
TUSUR Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Roman Mescheryakov has become a member of the Robotics Coordination Council under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
TUSUR University has ranked 42nd in the Research category of the National University Ranking, having improved its 2015 result by 49 positions.
On August 8 – 10 TUSUR University will host the First Cosmological Conference – the International Siberian Cosmology Days.

According to the results of the Graduate Employment Monitoring published by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, graduates of TUSUR University make 44,301 rubles/month on average during their first year of employment. That is half as much as the Russian-average graduate’s salary of 30,600 rubles.
