After London, then Bandung, Silicon Valley, Madrid, Glasgow, Singapore, Turin, Copenhagen/Lund, Rio de Janeiro, New York, and Amsterdam, Tomsk (Siberia, Russia) will host the XII Triple Helix International Conference 2014 (THC 2014), on September 11 – 13, 2014.
The Freescale Cup is an annual tournament for students studying software development, electronics and robotics. This year a total of 12 teams from Tomsk and other cities of Russia and Ukraine came to TUSUR to find out whose autonomous model race car is the fastest.
The Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China has published the list of foreign institutes of higher education recommended to Chinese students wishing to study abroad. The list includes over 10 thousand universities and colleges from 44 countries that have proven to offer good education and learning conditions to Chinese students.

According to Federal Law #203-FZ “On Amendment of Federal Law “On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation” and of Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation for Creation of Favorable Conditions for Education of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons in the Russian Federation” effective on July 23, 2013, full-time international students taking state-accredited degree programs at professional and higher education institutions are legally authorized to work subject to obtaining a work permit.
