On April 18–22 TUSUR received the delegation of Ritsumeikan University, Japan. The delegation included Kozaburo Hachimura, Dean of the College of Information Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University; Fumio Hattori, Vice-Dean for Graduate School Affairs, College of Information Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University; Naoki Mitsuno, Director of the Research Planning and Management Division, Ritsumeikan University; Miki Horie, Director of the International Affairs Division, Ritsumeikan University, and Victor Kryssanov, Professor of the College of Information Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University.
Vice-Rector of TUSUR Alexander Uvarov has joined the work of the 10th Global Technology Symposium (GTS) “Entrepreneurship and the Global World”, held March 27 – 29 in Silicon Valley, California.
During its work in Mongolia, TUSUR delegation will present the university at the four-day exhibition “International Education 2013” and hold academic tests in Ulaanbaatar and Erdenet to single out the most talented prospective students. The delegation will also hold meetings in the Ministry of Education and Science of Mongolia and the Russian Center of Science and Culture.
The Alumni Association of TUSUR offers grants to foreign nationals wishing to earn one of the three degrees offered by the university (Bachelor, Master, Candidate of Sciences(PhD)). The grants are competitive and fully cover the academic program selected.

Innovations in Information and Communication Science and Technology IICST 2012 Second Postgraduate Consortium International Workshop was held at TUSUR on 10 – 13 September 2012 within the framework of the 2012 International University Technology Dialogue devoted to 50th Anniversary of Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR).
More than 200 representatives of 45 universities from Russia, India, Indonesia, China, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Armenia and other countries participated in the forum that took place on the picturesque Altay territory.
The aim of the conference is to look at research results produced in the field of electronic instrumentation and control systems as well as to sum up the research results produced at TUSUR.
On June 21, 2012 at 11.00 two students from Limozh University (France) will defend their final papers in English in the Student Business Incubator (office 106).
From 7th till 11th June 2012 a TUSUR delegation headed by the Vice-Rector for Innovative Development and International Affairs, Alexander F. Uvarov, visited Paris to discuss issues of international cooperation with French universities.
